Eva’s Magazine was first founded in 1925 as a pioneering publication dedicated exclusively to Portuguese women.
As part of a design editorial project, I reimagined what Eva could look like if edited today, envisioning it for the contemporary woman: curious, dynamic, and inspired by the real stories of other women.

The creative direction embraced a dialogue between past and present. Many of the elements were crafted by hand, using different materials and analogue photography, adding tactility and authenticity. These handmade gestures contrasted with a minimal editorial layout, allowing clarity and rhythm while giving space for texture and imperfection to shine.

The result is a magazine that feels both timeless and current, rooted in history yet imagined for today,  a space where women can recognise themselves, discover ideas, and find inspiration.
Non-commercial academic project.
